Basecamp Journey organizes through their trekking tours, volunteer help and assistance to turn our vision to reality.
Animal Cruelty & Salvation
Elephants and Street dogs, not just in Nepal, but in other countries too, face daily abuse from the human population’s ignorance. Street Dog Care and Nepal Elephant Walk Sanctuary (NEWS) situated on the outskirts of Nepal’s lush Chitwan National Park, whom aim to create the first 100% ethical and humane sanctuary for the many hard-working, elderly and ailing elephants in the region.
Give back to the communities and save the our animals.
Basecamp Journey has a lot of respect and compassion to philanthropic organisations. Our tours support these causes we strongly believe in. You can also have opportunity to visit and stay at the elephant sanctuary and come and help to improve the health and living conditions of street dogs.
