Everest Basecamp – Flying to Lukla

  • 1 - 10 persons
“Mt. Everest” is the highest place on Earth where people can walk. It is also called “the roof of the world.” The highest peak on Earth is 8848.86m high, which is a very high height. It is on the eastern side of Nepal and shares a border with Tibet.
Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenjin Norgay Sherpa introduced a trekking route to Everest when they reached the top of the mountain in 1953. Mt. Everest, also called Sagarmatha by the government of Nepal and Chomolungma by the locals, which means “Mother Goddess of the World,” is without a doubt the most promising trekking destination from all over the world.
Some of the best things about the Everest trekking regions are the huge landscapes, hills, dense forests, running waterfalls, icefalls, and glaciers.
Highlights of the trek:
  • There are not a lot of things that need to be said about the Everest Base Camp Trek. Being up close to the tallest point on the Earth is the stuff of dreams.
  • Trekking on the most popular trail in the world is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
  • The Sherpa lifestyle and the ethnic diversity of other ethnic groups is a wonderful experience to behold.
  • The biology of the Everest region is one of the most distinct and unique in the whole world.
  • The spiritual monasteries, Chortens, and Mani-walls around the trail will be enlightening.
Best time for Everest Trekking
Between March and June is the finest season to climb Everest. During this time, the weather is clearer and easier to see, and the wildlife in the Everest district comes alive. This is when nature really shines. The dense forest around the place is beautiful, and walking down those trails at that time gives you a taste of what it was like. Spring and fall are much warmer than winter, so this is when most people travel.
Views of the eight-thousander peak from all angles.
The best views of Mt. Everest can be seen from the Everest trekking trail, and you can also see all of the nearby 8,000-meter peaks from a distance of two or three miles. Some of the beautiful 8000m peaks near Mt. Everest are Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), and Mt. Makalu (8,485 m), and many other peaks that reach over 6000 m. The struggles and hard work you have to go through to get to the base of the highest peak in the world are worth it when you see how beautiful the views are.
Settlement in a traditional village
In the area around Everest where you will be trekking, you will see amazing Sherpa villages. Even though living in the Himalayas is very hard and requires a lot of hard work and dedication, you will be welcomed by some of the best people you can find anywhere in the world. You’ll learn a lot about how people lived and how hard they worked in the Himalayas. These beautiful town settlements are appealing because they all have the same kind of housing and culture. If you want to experience these town ways of life,  will BCJ will enquire to give you the chance to live in these towns for as long as you like.
