Everest 3 Pass Trek

It’s an adventurous trek in the Everest region with breathtaking views of the world’s highest and most impressive peaks.

The trek takes you to the most beautiful viewpoints of Everest: Renjo La (5350m), Cho La (5420m), Kala Patthar (5500m), and offers exceptional views of the largest glacial complex in the world.

This trip includes an optional ascent of Island Peak, another of the 6000m+ mountain in the region. This adventurous part of the trek along with glaciers might be a lung-bursting move but as you reach Renjo La (5350m) and Kalapatthar (5,555m), the physical challenges that you took upon will be an enriching for your soul.

You will be surrounded by the Himalayan giants, the world’s highest peaks around you, and everything so pure and heavenly:  the emotions that will rush in you will make all the physical challenges worth it!

The experience will be something that you will look back upon with a smile on your face.

Everest Three Pass Trek by all accounts is a strenuous trek and requires a high level of fitness and more so, determination to complete. However, the finale of the trek is as much rewarding as it was difficult. The trek requires you to climb 3 high passes that connect the four valleys of Bhotekoshi, Gokyo, Khumbu, and Imja. In the beginning, you will trek through the rough and rocky high passes of Kongma La (5535m), Cho La (5380 m), and Renjo La (5388 m). Afterward, you will scale the three crests of the Everest base camp. (5364m), Kala Patthar (5545m), and Gokyo Ri (5360m). After overcoming this hurdle, you will then find yourself in a paradise of a place. The experience of this trek is incomparable and the endurance that you have shown will be duly rewarded. 

The Everest Three Pass trek will take us three weeks from start to finish and this trek is the perfect blend of a life-changing experience, challenging trails, and the overall experience of seeing the tallest points of the Earth up-close.

Primary Conditions 

Age preference: Trekkers are expected to be above the age of 18. 

Trekking Grade: Advanced & Adventurous; adults with a pretty much experience in trekking; capable to cope with the altitude & long walking hours. 

Fitness: An average trekker with sound strength is compatible with the trek. Certain medical issues can be neglected. However, doctors’ suggestions should be given a high priority in case of any medical/health issues. 

Trekking Gears: Basic gears must be carried by the trekkers themselves. Gear rental services are also available. 

Terms & Conditions

Luggage: For the domestic flight in Nepal, a maximum of 15kg of luggage is allowed including 5 kg of handbag and 10kg of baggage. Only necessary and important items for the trek must be taken along. The remaining luggage will be kept safely in the respective hotel in Kathmandu.

Weather: Unexpected weather can bring a few changes to the itinerary. Hence, extra days must be backed up in case of flight delay /some other matter due to bad weather. 

Prior report: In case of any health issue, trekkers should notify BCJ Treks & Tours. Any sort of restrictions and allergies on food should also be informed beforehand to  BCJ. 

Priority: Safety has always been the major priority. Trekkers will be guided by Basecamp Journey well-experienced mountain leaders & assisted by the well-trained staff of Basecamp Journey. Traveling insurance with emergency evacuation is mandatory to be done prior to arrival in Nepal. 

 Booking & Cancellation Conditions

Booking: To confirm the booking, US$500  advanced payment of the total cost of the trek should be made beforehand for the preparation of the trek. The earlier the booking the superior the trekking. 

Cancellation: Cancelling the trek after the booking will be charged a 25% cancellation fee from the total trekking cost. No refunds are provided if the cancellation is made before 2/3 weeks of the trekking date. 

No fee is charged for emergency purposes & cases. However, clarification along with the reasoning should be provided to Basecamp Journey through the official email. Decisions will be made after analyzing the purpose of the cancellation.
